Shade. Tone. Define.

STD began with a simple complaint: the brushes cost too much, shed on the second wash, and the shade you actually wanted was never in stock.

So we made our own. Twenty-four brushes across four series, built with synthetic bristles that hold their shape, ferrules that stay put, and handles weighted so your hand does not have to think. Then a lash range that sits flat on the lid, and a lip collection built around six nudes and a berry that people actually reach for twice a week.

Made in small runs

We produce in short batches rather than warehouses full. It means a shade occasionally sells out — and it means nothing sits for two years before it reaches you.

Ingredients and ethics

Every formula is cruelty-free and never tested on animals. Our colour cosmetics are dermatologically tested on people, and we publish the full ingredient list on every product page. Where a pigment has a mineral alternative that performs, we use it.

Priced honestly

We sell direct. No department-store margin, no seasonal markup, and a price that stays the price whether or not there is a sale on.
